Jacinta Deacon
Jacinta is a Psychodynamically trained, BACP accredited counsellor and works with Adults, Couples and Young People.
Jacinta has experience in working with a wide range of issues that may be linked to past experiences, or stressors in the present, and her aim is to provide a warm, welcoming and confidential space for you to safely explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences.
Jacinta offers couples a space to explore and understand your relationship dynamics and can support you to identify patterns within the relationship, improve communication and develop a deeper connection and understanding of each other.
When working with Young People, Jacinta provides a non-judgemental space for the young person to explore their thoughts, emotions and experiences in a way that they feel seen and heard. Jacinta works with young people to help them make sense of any struggles or difficulties they may be having and provides support in helping them build resilience and self-belief.
Jacinta has specialised experience in working sensitively and safely with trauma, working collaboratively and gently to support processing and healing and also has extensive experience and understanding in working with neurodivergence, especially Autism and ADHD.

Jacinta is an accredited registered member of the MBACP (Accred) the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy and works as an independent practitioner. She is committed to upholding the BACP’s ethical framework.
