Debra Sparshott

Registered Counsellor. Registered Member of MBACP.

Debra is a qualified therapeutic counsellor, couples therapist and clinical supervisor. She works integratively, tailoring one-to-one therapy for adults and relationship therapy for couples and families to each client’s individual needs. As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), she practises in accordance with its ethical framework and is committed to providing a high standard of care. Debra holds a current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate and public liability insurance.

Debra offers a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences. She builds a trusting therapeutic relationship in which clients can talk through life’s challenges, understand how these are affecting them and consider meaningful ways forward. Recognising the importance of emotional wellbeing and self-care, Debra offers clients her full attention and a dedicated space to pause, reflect and focus on their needs.

Drawing on an extensive business background, Debra can also support clients with workplace concerns and career decisions. Her objective, neutral approach provides a constructive setting in which to review options, gain clarity and identify practical next steps.

 Clinical Supervision

Debra is qualified in clinical supervision and supports counsellors, therapists and trainees. She has a particular interest in psychodynamic, transactional analysis and polyvagal approaches, and also works with integrative practitioners.

 Professional Membership

Debra is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and works as an independent practitioner. She is committed to upholding the BACP Ethical Framework.
